Depeche Mode keyboardist Andy Fletcher died at the age of 60, his band announced in a statement on Thursday. Fletcher is best known as the founding member of the English-language electronic music band.

The group’s origins date back to the late 1970s, named the band the Consequence of Sound when Fletcher began playing music with his band colleague Vince Clarke.

The band was initially named Composition of Sound but decided not to put that name to use and later renamed the band to the name it uses now which was officially launched in 1980 as Depeche Mode after singer David Gahan clashed with a French fashion magazine of the same name.

“Jesus, ” People Are People ”and“ True Policy ” are some of the songs they have produced.
The band was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

Was Andy Fletcher Vaccinated?

The cause of his death has not been identified at this time but some people are suspecting it to be COVID 19.

Andy has a vaccination card from Ontario which suggests he was vaccinated in 2021 when the first batch of vaccines was rolled out.
