Kirstie Alley was an American actress and television personality. The two-time Emmy award actress’s death was reported on Monday, December 5th, 2022. Kirstie was born in Wichita, Kansas in the United States of America on January 12th, 1951.

Kirstie was born to a lumber company owner identified as Robert Alley and his wife Lillian Alley. Kirstie’s first television appearance was in 1979 when she appeared as a game show contestant on the popular game show Match Game. After her first appearance, Kirstie subsequently appeared in another Game show known as Password Plus in 1980.

Kirstie’s ‘big break’ as an actress was in 1987 when she played the role of Rebecca Howe in the T.V. sitcom “Cheers”. In a 4 decade long career, Kirstie has appeared in well over 30 films and Television series, she has however taken a liking to game shows again in the last few years.

You would recall Kirstie appeared as a contestant in the 2011 edition of the dancing competition known as “Dancing with the Stars”. Kirstie also recently appeared in the reality singing competition “The Masked Singer” as a contestant known as “Baby Mammoth”.

The answer to the above question is Yes. American actress Kirstie Alley did appear in the 1982 Star trek film titled ” Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” as “Vulcan Starfleet officer Lieutenant Saavik”.
