Till now, there hasn’t been any trace of her. Hundreds of law enforcement officers have been deployed across the region to find her. But nothing has been seen of the little girl.
Weeks have been spent conducting extensive searches of the area surrounding the family’s home. That has also proved futile.
The case of the little girl has caught national attention with people hoping that she would be found. With all these months of searching for her with no results, conclusions have been reached that he might have died.
But where are her remains? At least if found, it can give peace to her parents and all the concerned people looking for her.
During a September episode of “In Pursuit with John Walsh,” and the parents — Donald Wells and Candus Bly — appeared on the “Dr. Phil Show” in early November.
Hundreds of tips have come in over the past six months, and the reward fund for information leading to Summer’s return has surpassed $58,000.
Was Summer Wells remains found?
No! As of today, Summer Wells has not been found. Search is still in place to find her!
Just recently, human remains were found in Knox County but the gender of the deceased isn’t even clear.
Thus, there’s no evidence at this point that the remains are Summer Wells. According to WHNT, human remains were found off of the Andrew Johnson Highway in Knox County. The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the remains are of a human being but the age, gender, time of death did not reveal yet.
