Actress Kirstie Louise Alley lived in the United States from January 12, 1951, to December 5, 2022.

For her participation in the crime drama series The Last Don, Alley was nominated for another Emmy in 1997. She portrayed a fictionalized version of herself in 2005’s Fat Actress on Showtime.

Later, she made an appearance on Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (2010), and she competed on the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars (2011–2012), placing second. With the title role on the sitcom Kirstie in 2013, Alley made a comeback as an actor.

After a brief fight with cancer, Alley passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 71.

Her children said in a statement that cancer had just been identified.

On social media, her two children, her ex-husband Parker Stevenson, co-star John Travolta of Look Who’s Talking, and other famous people expressed their sympathies.

Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, and Rhea Perlman, who were her Cheers co-stars, all expressed their sorrow and their love for her in public declarations.
