Nicholas Scott Cannon is a famous American rapper, actor, comedian, and television host. He was born on the 8th of October, 1980 in San Diego, California. He grew up in a gang-ridden section of Southeast San Diego called Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects.
While growing up, he was affiliated with the Lincoln Park Bloods street gang but indicated that he lost a close friend and as a result left the gang.
He attended the Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley where he was the president of the African Student Coalition.
He performed his first stand-up comedy on his father's local cable access program then he moved on to host the show All That. From there Nick Cannon began to host a number of shows namely; The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, Lip Sync Battle Shortie, The Masked Singer, and America's Got Talent.
He has also featured in movies such as Love Don't Cost a Thing, Roll Bounce and Drumline. In the year 2003, he released his debut album titled Gigolo which featured R. Kelly.
