American entrepreneur Adam Dell was born on January 14, 1970, in Houston, Texas.

Dell is the brother of Michael Dell, the founder of the computer manufacturing giant, Dell Inc.

Dell was born into a German Jewish family and had attended Tulane University and the University of Texas School of Law.

He began his career at Winstead Sechrest & Minick, in Austin, Texas, where he worked as an attorney.

He later worked at Crosspoint Venture Partners, in Woodside, California, and grew into a partnership with them in 1999. He also became a partner with Goldman Sachs.

The following year, he formed Impact Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, in New York.

Dell has established no less than four companies namely; Clarity Money, Civitas Learning; Buzzsaw.com, and MessageOne.

Dell has been an adjunct professor at the Columbia University Business School and the Law School at the University of Texas.
