Golladay played two seasons at North Dakota before relocating to Northern Illinois in 2014.

In 2016, Golladay’s final collegiate season, he had 87 catches for 1,156 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions selected Golladay.

He was the sixth-highest selection in school history and the 39th player drafted from Northern Illinois. In the 2017 NFL Draft, he was selected as the 12th wide receiver.
