Gladiators, the TV series in which Bernadette Hunt played, has reported that she passed away at the age of 59.
In the early 1990s, she participated in the ITV sports entertainment program as one of the female gladiators, and her stage name was Falcon.
Gladiators, which ran from 1992 to 2000, will be reintroduced on the BBC with an 11-episode season that will be filmed this year.
Having “fought cancer for several years,” according to the organization’s website, Hunt passed away on March 14.
Gladiators made a comeback on TV between 2008 and 2009 on Sky, and at its height in the 1990s, it drew significant crowds to the Saturday night ITV slot.
