Cherry Seaborn is a British hockey player and childhood friend of Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter.
She was born on May 6, 1992, in Suffolk, England, and attended Thomas Mills High School, where she met Sheeran. The two started dating in 2015, and after taking a break, they rekindled their romance in 2016.
Seaborn went on to attend Duke University in the United States, where she played for the women's hockey team and earned a degree in molecular biology. After completing her studies, she returned to England and worked as a consultant for Deloitte.
In January 2018, Sheeran announced that he and Seaborn were engaged. They got married in a private ceremony in December 2018, and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, in August 2020.
Despite being married to one of the world's biggest music stars, Seaborn prefers to keep a low profile and is not active on social media.
