Brad William Henke was born on April 10, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio. He was an American actor as well as a football player.

Henke’s breakthrough performance was as Desi Piscatella, a gay corrections officer at Litchfield Federal Penitentiary, in Orange, Is the New Black. The fourth season saw his arrival on OITNB.

He was a member of the cast that garnered the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Henke died on November 29, 2022 in his sleep. The cause of his death is yet to be explored. He is survived by his wife, stupids, and grand child.

When Henke was in the NFL, he played for the Denver Broncos. He signed onto the team in 1989 as the defensive end. However, in 1990, Henke had to retire following an injury he sustained.
