When Black People Are Poor They Become A Laughing Stock – Big Zulu


Famous South African rapper and actor Siyabonga Nene known in the entertainment industry as Big  has revealed that though he is financially stable, he has passed through a lot of phases and knows how it feels to be poor.


Sharing his grass to grace story, the star shared an old photo of himself singing and another of a mud house on his Instagram timeline. He revealed that in his kind of work (singing) all there is hate from people. He explained that people tend to laugh at black people for being poor and then turn into haters when they become successful.

“It’s difficult here. When black people are poor they become a laughing stock. The sort of work we do is full of hate and sins. When you succeed you gain haters and people swear at you and call you by all names. In this work we do they don’t care about us, they only care about issues we have”
