Bruce Gordon Poulsen, widely known as Hans Sven Poulsen was a popular singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Australia.

Hans Poulsen was of Danish Descent and was brought forth into the world on 7 March 1945 in Melbourne. Hans Poulsen lived 77 years before kicking the bucket. Vic and Neile Poulsen was the wonderful parent of Hans Sven Poulsen.

Hans Sven was best known for his career spanned from 1961 to 1993. Its number-one Australian hit was Boom Sha La La Lo and Light Across the Valley and had success as a songwriter with Jamie/Rose Coloured Glasses for Johnny Farham and Monty and Me for Zoot. As a multi-instrumentalist, Hans played lap steel; guitar, and Ukulele.
