Archbishop Desmond Tutu died today, December 26, 2021, and a lot of his fans and South Africans are heartbroken over his sudden demise.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s death was confirmed by South African’s President Ramaphosa in a statement which had him describe Archbishop Desmond Tutu as “an iconic spiritual leader, anti-apartheid activist and global human rights campaigner”.
President Ramaphosa while further speaking on Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s death said he was “a patriot without equal; a leader of principle and pragmatism who gave meaning to the biblical insight that faith without works is dead.
“A man of extraordinary intellect, integrity and invincibility against the forces of apartheid, he was also tender and vulnerable in his compassion for those who had suffered oppression, injustice and violence under apartheid, and oppressed and downtrodden people around the world.”

Archbishop Desmond Tutu according to the verified report made available, suffered from prostate cancer in the late 1990s and had been receiving treatment bit by bit.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu has since been in and out of hospital battling with some diseases that come with the prostate cancer he suffered in the 1990s.
