Da'naia Jackson prayed specifically for critics and condemned those who mocked and slandered their names. “May the mercies of God be withdrawn from anyone who speaks against the names Da'Naia Jackson and Derrick Jaxn in mockery, accusations, slanders, and lies,” Jackson said on Nov. 18.

Jaxn announced the couple's divorce after photos of him and an unknown woman surfaced online. During Art Basel Week in Miami, popular blogger Tasha K shared photos of the self-proclaimed relationship guru and a model. Jaxn claimed in the announcement that he and Jackson split “earlier this year.”
