Kirstie Alley also known as Kirstie Louise Alley was an American actress whose break-out role was Rebbecca Howe in the NBC sitcom Cheers from 1987 to 1993 for which she received the Emmy Award and a Golden Globe in 1991.

Kirstie Alley was born in Wichita, Kansas, U.S. on 12 January 1951. Kirstie Alley attended Wichita Southeast High School and graduated in 1969, She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue Scientology and work as an interior designer after dropping out of Kansas State University.

From 1997 to 2000 Kirstie Alley starred as the lead in the sitcom Veronicas Closet which she got additional Emmy Award Golden Globe nominations. After a standout role in 1982s Star Trek II, Kirstie Alley played roles in movies like Blind date (1984) and Summer School (1987). Kirstie Alley starred in a number of smaller films like (One More Chance and Runaway)
