Lindsay Dee Lohan is an American actress and singer. She was signed to Ford Models at the age of three and her breakthrough came in the 1998 Walt Disney Pictures film “The Parent Trap”. The film’s success led to her appearances in other television films.

While filming the comedy-drama “Georgia Rule” in 2006, Lindsay became the subject of intense media coverage due to some reported issues on set, which would be the start of a series of personal struggles that would plague her career and life.

During the late 2000s, Lohan became a fixture in the tabloid press for her legal issues, a number of stints in rehabilitation facilities due to alcoholism and court appearances.

This period saw her lose many roles, which significantly impacted her career and public image negatively. In her attempt to return to acting and stage a comeback, she appeared in Liz and Dick (2012) and The Canyons (2013), however, both were met with negative reviews.

Under the guidance of Oprah Winfrey in 2013, Lohan began filming the docu-series titled, “Lindsay” (2014) which depicted her life after completing her final stint in rehab and returning to work. In the following year, a judge declared that Lindsay had completed her probation which began in 2007, freeing her free from the legal system for the first time in eight years. She then made her stage debut in the London West End production of Speed-the-Plow (2014–2015) and starred in the British comedy series Sick Note (2018).
