Nicholas Scott Cannon, an American television personality, actor, rapper, and comedian, was born on October 8, 1980. Cannon made his television debut as a child on All That before presenting The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer.

He made acting appearances in the films Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Roll Bounce.

His self-titled debut rap album from 2003 included R. Kelly and his co-written song “Gigolo.” In 2007, he played the fictional footballer TJ Harper in the film Goal II: Living the Dream. Cannon recorded the songs “Dime Piece” and “My Wife” in 2006 for the impending album Stages, which was never released.
