Judge Hatchett is an American reality court program based on arbitration.
This series has nothing to do with the Entertainment Studios’ Glenda Hatchett series, The Verdict With Judge Hatchett, which debuted in 2016.

The Glenda Hatchett-led series was based on earlier “court shows” like Judge Judy and the enduring The People’s Court and used aspects from tabloid chat shows like Sally Jessy Raphael and Maury Povich.

She handled standard small-claims disputes (with a plaintiff, defendant, and monetary judgments sought) in addition to dealing with DNA paternity tests and out-of-control teenagers.

Hatchett was initially kind and caring, but over time, he evolved into a more scathing and sarcastic disciplinarian who aimed to teach children a lesson by sending them on corrective excursions.
