After a woman was shot and died in a suspected domestic violence incident in Fontana on Monday, police are looking for a suspect deemed armed and dangerous. They believe the guy is with his 15-year-old daughter.
Since then, the teen has been the subject of an Amber Alert.
Officers arrived to the area around Cypress Avenue and Mallory Drive at around 7:30 in the morning after receiving many complaints regarding a shooting, according to the Fontana Police Department.
Public information officer for the FPD, Ofc. Daniel Romero, stated some calls claimed the incident had place at Cypress Elementary School.
Romero stated during a brief press conference on Monday afternnon that “officers discovered that Cypress Elementary School had no involvement.” The temporary lockdown was imposed at the time, but Fontana USD quickly lifted it.
Police said the woman, who has not yet been identified, had multiple gunshot wounds when they arrived on the scene. She was taken to the hospital right away, where she passed away.

Police said the suspect, 45-year-old Anthony John Graziano, is thought to be with his 15-year-old daughter Savanna Graziano and is armed and dangerous.
“They think that he either picked her up or met her somewhere, and they’re together now,” said Romero, “sometime between this occurrence and now.
The suspect, according to police, is traveling in a white 2017 Nissan Frontier with the California license plate 44305G2.
Police claim that the vehicle has an overland bed rack and a clear “Pro-4X” and “animal” sticker on the rear quarter panel.
Romero claimed that at least two automobiles that were unrelated to the shooting were hit by bullets as the event developed.
With so many people around and so many kids walking to school this morning, he continued, “We are incredibly fortunate that no one else was wounded.” We are really fortunate that no one else was hurt.
Romero said that Graziano lives in Fontana, but investigators discovered that he had previously resided in Arizona.
