Justin Johnson is one of the killers of beloved rapper, Young Dolph. Dolph was murdered on November 17, 2021. Months after they killed the rapper, Justin Johnson has been captured. His other partner in crime is Cornelius Smith is also in police custody.
Fox 13 Memphis reports that Justin Johnson was captured in Indiana on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, around 3PM.

Johnson’s arrest is coming just a week after Marshals identified him as one of the people responsible for the death of Young Dolph.
Justin Johnson has since been on the run. A $15,000 reward was placed on his for anyone who would help in locating his whereabouts.
Justin is believed to be one of the men who shot and killed Dolph when he was inside Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies on Airways Blvd.
Before his arrest, Justin Johnson took to Instagram to announce that he would turn himself in at 201 Poplar, but he never showed up, according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s office.

Before his killing of Young Dolph, he had a history of crimes. He’s a musician who performs under the name Straight Drop. He was arrested for a triple shooting at Billy Hardwick’s All Star Lanes bowling Alley on White Station Rd. in 2017.
He got 5 years in prison for this crime. However, his five-year sentence for that shooting ended after just months when a judge OK’d his release.
“It’s called the Department of Corrections not the Department of Punishment,” said Judge Chris Craft of Shelby County Criminal Court who approved the motion to suspend Johnson’s five-year prison sentence after he served a little more than five months.

Johnson faces charges of first-degree murder and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000. He also has an outstanding warrant for violation of federal release related to a weapons conviction.
