The Lykan HyperSport is a Lebanese limited-production sports car that is manufactured by W Motors, a United Arab Emirates-based company, founded in Lebanon, in 2012, with the collaboration of Lebanese, and Italian engineers. It is the first sports car to be designed indigenously in the Middle East; however, its bodywork, engine and chassis were all produced in Germany and assembled in Italy.

The production of the car was limited to a total of seven units, and the first pre-production Lykan HyperSport was unveiled to the public at the Qatar Motor Show in 2013.

At US$3.4 million, the HyperSport was the third most expensive production car at the time of its production. It is the first car to have headlights with embedded jewels; they contain titanium LED blades with 440 platinum diamonds (15cts); although buyers had a selection of yellow diamonds, rubies, diamonds, and sapphires to be integrated into the vehicle’s headlights at purchase based on the colour choice.

The Lykan HyperSport also uses a holographic display system on the centre console with interactive motion features, as well as gold stitching on the seats. The Abu Dhabi Police purchased a Lykan HyperSport in June 2015, and it is included in the total of seven, meaning only six were available for purchase by customers.

Lykan HyperSport is owned by the founder and CEO of W Motors, Ralph R. Debbas, a Lebanese automotive entrepreneur, designer, and businessman. He is also best known as the designer of the Lykan HyperSport.
