Many fans of CNN are asking numerous questions wanting to know why did CNN fire Chris Cuomo? – This is because Chris Cuomo happens to be one of their best news anchors.

In a statement, Chris Cuomo made his feelings known to his fans. In his own words, he said: “not how I want my time at CNN to end”.
Until his sad fate, Chris Cuomo has been working with CNN since 2013. Due to his hard work and dedication, he became the most noticeable news presenter. He led CNNs presidential election coverage last year 2020 during USs.
Throwing more lights to it, CNN has issued a statement on their move. They stated: “respected law firm” had been hired to investigate Chris Cuomo’s efforts to help his politician brother fight allegations of sexual harassment. But while that review was happening, “new information has come to light” leading to the network terminating his contract, “effective immediately”.
Chris Cuomo was however appreciated by his former employees who noted: “appreciated the unique position [Chris Cuomo] was in and understood his need to put family first and job second”, the advice he offered to his brother was a breach of journalistic ethics.
His woes was further deepened after some documents from New York Attorney General Lititia James got released which captured him pressing staff to allow him be a pivotal force in his brother’s defence.
“You need to trust me,” he texted Melissa DeRosa, his brother’s secretary, in March, adding: “We are making mistakes we can’t afford.”
Also, he promise to make contacts to some media firms to try and be abressed with some other allegations that kept pouring in.

The Cuomo family has long been one of the most dominant dynasties in US politics. Andrew Cuomo was elected to three successive terms as New York governor and their father Mario led the state for over a decade between 1983 and 1994.
