Why Did Johnny Depp Lose The Case Against Amber Heard Even Though The Evidence Was Largely In His Favour?

The truth is that, because he’s a man, domestic abuse cases are not ruled in his favor. Even though Amber Heard beat him, cut him, abused him, and had him hospitalized.

He’s still obviously more dangerous and aggressive in the eyes of the law under his gender. That’s exactly the way the legal system works.

A study of 246 male callers to the U.S. Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men found that 72% of the men claimed that their abusers manipulated the court system to gain sole custody of their children. So gender stereotypes are real.
