The list of 2022 Grammy nominees is finally out and Wizkd has chalked 2 nominations. The Nigerian singer has had much of a good year after the release of his Made in Lagos album in 2020.
Most of the songs have crossed boundaries and broke barriers worldwide— so this comes as no surprise at all.
He was nominated in the Best Global Music Album with his ‘Made In Lagos’ album and his ‘Essence’ song also got nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category.
This is Wizkid’s 4th nomination at the Grammys making him the most nominated Nigerian artist in Grammy history.
This is a big win for Nigeria for that matter Africa.
