Popular Senegalese-American singer, Aliaune Damala Badara Thiam better known as Akon, has stirred reactions online as he shared more details about top Nigeran artistes Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.

In a recent interview making rounds online, Akon described the three Afrobeats singers and how they maintain their consistency since their breakouts into the music industry using different styles.

According to the Lonely crooner, while describing the self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy as a beast, who is interesting and getting it right, he also added that he’s loving the Last Last crooner’s song at the moment.

Speaking about Wizkid, Akon noted that the Bad To Me crooner is a born superstar who makes good music effortlessly.

Not stopping there, he continued by adding that Wizkid will pull out one record a year and the record will making waves for the whole year.

Finally speaking about Davido, he described the Electricity crooner as a very hardworking artiste noting that while he stays in Atlanta, the DMW boss was trying to become a rapper and now he’s one of the biggest Afrobeat artistes.

As if that was not enough, Akon went ahead stating that the DMW boss is seen as an underdog compared to Wizkid, but still, he managed to break into the music industry and keeps dishing out music followed with video week in week out.

In his words, the singer said; “Burna Boy is a beast. Wizkid is just a superstar. Davido is the hardest working artiste because he was the underdog.”
