Who would have known that bleaching one’s skin could lead to getting a sack from work?
Well, it has happened to a Nigerian lady who has decided to change the coating of her skin. As you all know, what happens when you bleach your skin is some dark spots become visible on knuckles, elbows, and other places.
This woman’s own was quite horrible so customers at her workplace reported that they don’t feel comfortable with her serving them with the dark knuckles.
Management suggested gloves but she refused. She also refused to be moved to another department where she wouldn’t interact with guests.
As a result, she was fired from her job today.
“I am not against bleaching your skin but just do it right,” the Twitter user who shared the story wrote, adding that her company does not discriminate against staff with medical conditions of any sort.
