Nollywood actress Uche Ebere has reacted to the outrageous sum of money demanded as ransom by the unknown gunmen that snatched away two veteran Nigerian actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi.
KFN earlier reported that the Kidnappers demanded a sum of $100,000 for the release of the captives.
The disturbing incident has made many actors panic as they are faced with the task of raising the funds for their release.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Emeka Rollas confirmed that contact has been established with the families while he said the guild is working with relevant security agencies to ensure safe return.
Reacting, Uche Ebere shared photos of her kidnapped colleagues and stressed that actors are not as buoyant as the kidnappers, who she described as demons.
She went on to appeal to God to deliver her colleagues from the demons just as he delivered Daniel from the lion's den.
She wrote:
People that are entertaining to put food on the table, how much do we have, nothing ooo, this is the height of it, kidnapping people you're better off, Please God who delivered Daniel from Lion's den, please deliver them from those demons in Jesus Mighty Name Ameeennnnnnnn
