Adrienne Pan the Tv and Radio ost has died. Everyone is sharing their grief on social media about her death. The afternoon show host Adrienne of CBC’s Edmonton died at age 43.
Pan grew up and attended her college in Victoria College of the Arts at Edmonton. Pan was a hard-working lady who inspired even her colleagues. Pan hosted shows in high school and that prepared her for greater programs. She learned a lot when she worked with Winnipeg and Lethbridge and A channel in Edmonton.
Pan had people’s interest at heart so she did a documentary about the community activist Harry Lehotsky, who was battling terminal pancreatic Cancer and an inner-city Pastor of which she won the National award for a television documentary. She did a couple of great works before joining the CBC Edmonton. Pan loved her work to the extent that she sometimes had to fill in for a colleague without being prepared.
Reflecting on the experience in 2018, Pan said: “It was a horrific experience to be on an unscripted broadcast for hours on end, but it was one of the most important moments in journalism I’ve experienced in my career.”
Pan loved soo many things like fashion music, movies, road trips, and food. She helped a lot of dining restaurants. She loves to help people with a balanced diet. Pan suffered a severe illness for months and that’s painful.
Her colleagues missed her and mentioned interesting things about her while she was at the hospital;
While in hospital, Pan texted Prei about a burger she was dreaming about.
The burger was layered with cream cheese, cucumbers, and sprouts, which Prei had not dressed because she did not want them to wilt.
“After I dropped off that burger, a little later on I got a text and she said to me that the burger was lacking acidity,” Prei recalled.
“That’s what I loved about her — she was super honest.”
Prei is the chief executive of Edmonton restaurant May and a Radio Active columnist and a close friend to Pan.
