This time around, it is Nicholas Cage that is reported dead in the news. It is unfortunately not the first time the movie star has been killed by an internet hoax. In 2013, a website alleged that Cage had died from a skiing accident after being airlifted by a ski patrol to a locally nearby hospital.
In 2016 another website that even bore a CNN logo reported that Nicholas Cage had passed away in a motorcycle accident.
This week has seen another episode of a similarly devastating hoax. As ridiculous as these claims are, many people who can not verify its authenticity are becoming prone to believing such fake news.
Let’s set the records straight; Nicholas Cage is not dead. Anyone who has come across such news should disregard it. Nicholas is alive with his wife Riko Shibata and their two children.
He is now 58 years of age and still working on so many projects, some of which are reportedly set to be out doored later this year.
