Trump Social media app is now trending after it was announced to be soon launched to battle Facebook and Instagram.
Former president of America Donald Trump in 2021 announced plans to launch his own social media platform which he tagged TRUTH. According to him, the TRUTh App would be available this year and it seems all is set and done for it to be rolled out.
Donald Trump explained that because he was banned from Facebook and Twitter earlier last year, he has a primary goal to launch the TRUTH App so as he can battle the tech companies and also have a platform to loud out his opinions.
Trump while creating the awareness of his new platform said:
“I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on Truth Social and to fight back against big tech. Honest global conversation”, the terms of service agreement prohibits users from making fun of the site. To access the platform, users agree not to “disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the site”.
According to Donald Trump, this year, the platform would be fully accessible after people were invited for the beta launch in November last year.
Truth Social media will fall under Donald Trump’s new company called; the Trump Media & Technology Group, which was created through a merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp. The group said it aims to become a publicly listed company.

The link when clicked on tells users to fill in some vital information as their signing up process after which they would be added to the waiting list or to the pre-order queue. There is a bit of similarity between Trump’s App and that of Twitter based on the interface as well as the colour blend.
The name Truth Social was trademarked by Trump Group Corp in July, according to public filings available on many social media platforms.

Some people reported managing to gain access to the platform even though the platform is yet to be officially opened for users. One reporter at Daily Dot confessed to having been able to create an account and profile with the username @DonaldTrump.
Far back in July, Donald Trump sued Facebook, Twitter and Google for allegedly censoring some of his posts on their platforms. The companies have to date held on their ban and suspension against Donald Trump even though they have plans to revisit their decision two years down the line.

“For those asking, the public domain for what appeared to be the mobile beta of Trump’s new social media platform ‘TRUTH Social’ has been taken offline.
I did manage to grab a screenshot of the Account Settings menu before access was blocked.”
