David Attenborough is a British naturalist, broadcaster, and filmmaker. He was born on May 8, 1926, in London, England. Attenborough is perhaps best known for his numerous documentaries on natural history and wildlife, many of which have been broadcast by the bbc.
Attenborough started his career as a producer at the BBC in 1952. He went on to become a presenter, hosting a number of natural history programs, including the landmark series “Life on Earth” in 1979. He has since produced and presented many more documentaries, including “The Blue Planet”, “Planet Earth”, and “Frozen Planet”.
In addition to his work on television, Attenborough is a prominent conservationist and has been involved in numerous initiatives to protect endangered species and their habitats. He has also written several books on natural history, including “The Private Life of Plants” and “Life on Earth”.
