Jackson has earned a lot of praise and accolades for himself over the years by achieving a lot in multiple sports. He is the only professional athlete to be named an All-star in both baseball and football. Bo Jackson is considered as one of the greatest sports men to have ever attempted sports. Jackson was drafted into the National Football League in 1986 with the first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but refused to play for them because a visit to team facilities the Buccaneers said was NCAA-approved was actually not, causing him to miss the remainder of his final college baseball season.He chose to play baseball instead for the Kansas City Royals, the defending World Series champions, who had drafted him in the fourth round, 105th overall, in the 1986 amateur draft. Some of the teams he played for include Kansas City Royals (1986–1990), Chicago White Sox (1991, 1993) and California Angels (1994).
