American veteran Tennis player, Chris Evert has revealed her shocking state of health in a new post on Social media. Chris Evert stated that she has bing diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian cancer.
According to Chris Evert’s statement on Twitter, she was bold enough to make public her health condition as a way of helping others battle it the way they should.
“I wanted to share my stage 1 ovarian cancer diagnosis and the story behind it as a way to help others,” she wrote. “I feel very lucky that they caught it early an expect positive results from my chemo plan. Thanks to Chris McKendry for her friendship and co-writing this very personal story with me. And thanks to all of you for respecting my need to focus on my health and treatment plan.” Chris Evert wrote in her Twitter post.
The 18 Grand Slam singles title winner also revealed that she’ll soon appear on ESPN’s coverage but she will be working from home.
“You will see me appear from home at times during ESPN’s coverage of the Aussie Open,” she said.
