Gianluca Cristiano Busio, an American professional soccer player who competes for both the United States national team and Serie B club Venezia, was born on May 28, 2002.
On April 4, 2018, he played for Swope Park Rangers, a United Soccer League affiliate of Sporting Kansas City, and started the team’s 1-0 victory over Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
On July 28, Busio made his first appearance in Major League Soccer for Sporting Kansas City as a 77th-minute replacement in a 3-2 loss to FC Dallas.
On August 4, one week later, Busio started his first league game for Sporting Kansas City against the Houston Dynamo. There were three red cards, eight yellow cards, and a total of 28 fouls committed during the match.
