Popular former basketball player, Maoi Roca is dead. He died on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 47.
During his prime as a basketball player, Maoi Roca played for La Salle team in the UAAP. His role in the team helped in leading the Green Archers to a championship in Season 61 in 1998.
He earned a selection to the UAAP Mythical Team.
After college, Roca went on to play for the Batangas Blades in the Metropolitan Basketball Association and got drafted by Tanduay at No. 32 overall in the 2001 PBA Draft.
Maoi Roca also entered the entertainment circles for a short period of time. He made an appearance on the gag show, Tropang Trumpo, where he starred alongside fellow stars such as Carmina Villaroel and Gelli de Belen.

Following his death, a lot of people want to know about his Instagram account. The fact is, he does not have one. He wasn’t so much into social media. He loved to keep his lifestyle off the prying eyes of the media.
He, however, has a Youtube channel where he posts videos of his basket ball session.
