Krishnakumar Kunnath, commonly known as KK, fainted after a concert in Kolkata and was transported to a private hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
After the show, the playback singer fell and was transferred to a private hospital in the city. According to hospital officials, he was “taken dead” to Kolkata’s CMRI Hospital at about 10 p.m.
KK, one of India’s most talented vocalists, has recorded songs in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, and Bengali.
Singer KK is survived by his wife and children.
