Who Is Danica Patrick Husband Aaron Rodgers?

Aaron Charles Rodgers, born December 2, 1983, is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

Rodgers began his undergraduate football career in 2002 at Butte College before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley, where he set numerous career passing records, including the lowest single-season and career interception rates. He was chosen by the Packers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Aaron Rodgers Early years

Aaron Charles Rodgers was born on December 2, 1983, to Darla Leigh (née Pittman) and Edward Wesley Rodgers in Chico, California.

His father is a Texas physician who was a member of the Chico State Wildcats’ offensive line from 1973 to 1976. His forebears are of English, Irish, and German descent.

Aaron Rodgers College career

Rodgers had minimal interest from Division I programs despite his outstanding high school record. He ascribed his lack of attention in the recruiting process to his unimposing physical stature as a high school player, at 5’10” (1.78 m) and 165 lb, in a 2011 interview with E:60 (75 kg).

Rodgers had hoped to play for Florida State under head coach Bobby Bowden, but he was turned down. He was only given the chance to compete for a walk-on scholarship at the University of Illinois.

Professional career

Rodgers announced on March 8 that he would return to the Packers for the 2022 season, putting an end to speculation that he may retire or seek a trade.

Rodgers denied on Twitter that he and the Packers had reached an agreement on a four-year, $200 million contract extension that would have made him the highest-paid player in NFL history, stating that the figures on the proposed contract were inaccurate and that he had yet to sign one.

He did, however, declare that he would return to the Packers for his 18th season in the league.
