The renowned singer Ronnie Spector who founded the girl group The Ronettes in 1961, has passed away after battling cancer. She was 78 at the time of her death on January 12, 2022.
She was also famous for being the ex-wife of the legendary producer Phil Spector who wrote and produced most of her hit songs. She was however abused and forbidden by her husband not to perform. That was the cause of the termination of their marriage.
Later in1982, Spector married her manager Jonathan Greenfield with whom she had two sons Austin Drew and Jason Charles.
